Sweet and Sassy Fruit Tea

Until I moved to Nashville, I had never heard of fruit tea. I was introduced to it at a now defunct restaurant called the Cooker here in Nashville. One of my coworkers talked me into trying it during one of our many lunch runs. I’ve been hooked ever since. Truthfully, it doesn’t bear much resemblence to plain old tea. It’s sweet and fresh with lots of layers of flavor. If you really want to make it interesting, add a little fresh mint to the tea while brewing. If you don’t have time to make tea, pick up some unsweetened tea from your local grocery store.

December 30, 2017These glasses are old jelly glasses. My grandmother used to have a bunch of them that was our everyday drinking glasses. Memories…
